Amazing stay at the Kyoto Brighton Hotel! The luxury corner room we stayed in was like a suite at other hotels, but without the hefty price tag. The bathroom and bed were of the highest standard, and we even had a spacious balcony. The high-end Japanese restaurant served delicious food that was worth every penny. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and luxurious experience.

There is nothing to complain about as the food is perfect here, and it's worth checking out the Kamigyo Ward neighborhood, while everything met our needs including on-site parking.

The room was lovely; modern and tasteful. Bed very comfortable. Staff very attentive and helpful, especially the concierge.
Would have used the pool but they were charging an extra £10 per person. This was billed as a 5* hotel, but even the 3* hotels we have stayed in which have had pools didn't charge!

A peaceful hotel situated in a quiet residential area with easy access to public transportation, including a subway stop where two lines intersect, and a short distance to the nearest JR station. The rooms are spacious, clean and include a Nespresso coffee maker and a matcha tea set. Excellent service with staff speaking good English. The breakfast offers both a set Japanese breakfast and a western buffet, and the latter is delicious. Enjoy discounted dining of 1000 JPY for dinner courses at the hotel's on-site restaurants.
There are limited activities and places to see in the immediate area around the hotel.

Had the most amazing thanksgiving at this hotel! the breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We enjoyed the complementary parking and bottled water, which was very convenient. Secondly, the location was perfect, with everything we wanted to visit just a stroll away. And the icing on the cake was the stunning, well-kept rooms with such comfortable beds that made our stay even more enjoyable.
To be honest, there was nothing negative about our stay. Everything was just perfect.

It was totally fantastic! The staff was very helpful and nice, and made our stay so enjoyable! Though it is far from the Kyoto station, I actually liked the quiet neighborhood. The room has modern Japanese deco, and was super clean. Cool bath!!

The location is brilliant - between Tokyo station and Ginza. Less than 10 minutes walk from Tokyo station.
Sitting at the desk, it is impossible to avoid the air blow at your neck - I caught a terrible cold. The city map they have a available is not the best.

This hotel is a gem in terms of value for money. The prices are reasonable and you get so much for what you pay. The attention to detail is impressive, from the modern and updated furnitures in the rooms to the spacious bathroom. The staff here are really friendly and welcoming, making you feel respected and taken care of. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood which will make you experience the heart of Kyoto. Breakfast is also top-notch, with great quality ingredients and a few options to choose from. I particularly loved the comfortable bed in the room, ensuring a good night's sleep.
There was one minor inconvenience during my stay, but it didn't bother me too much. The hotel is situated in a residential area which presented a problem for us as there was no breakfast place nearby.

That the bus did not go all the way to Kyoto station.
